Care Coordinator
We are looking for an organised and people-focused Care Coordinator to join our Berkshire branch. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating and managing care schedules, matching carers to clients, handling enquiries from families and professionals, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our care operations. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and care team to maintain the highest standards of service. This is an office-based role with occasional field visits for client assessments and carer spot checks. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with scheduling or coordination experience in the care sector who wants to make a real impact behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage weekly care rotas and schedules
- Match carers to clients based on skills, personality, and location
- Handle new enquiry calls and conduct initial assessments
- Coordinate with families, GPs, social workers, and other professionals
- Monitor care quality through spot checks and feedback
- Manage carer availability, holidays, and sickness cover
- Maintain accurate records on our care management system
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new care staff
- Participate in the on-call rota (shared with team)
What We're Looking For
- Experience in care coordination, scheduling, or administration
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills: phone, email, and in-person
- Proficiency with care management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this)
